We sat down with first-generation, East-Indian artist, Prin$e Alexander (PA) who has been making waves in the music industry with his raw talent in both rapping and singing. His ability to take over pretty much any genre that is thrown his way is the reason why he’s been able to tour and perform at some high profile shows such as SXSW and A3C.
PA uses his platform to create authentic music and really get into story-telling about real-life situations. He understands how using even his own personal experiences to create music that can be relatable to his fans is important.
In this interview, PA talks about how his hustle comes from appreciating his father’s story of immigrating to the United States, to the most important thing in the world is having a good mental health. He also discussed the vital moment he realized the need get rid of certain people from his life in order to excel.
“For me what really changed me was just realizing the type of people that were surrounding me, realizing that this isn’t the type of vibe that I want and it’s not going to lead me to anywhere good.”
