This past weekend I had a press pass to cover one of the biggest events in Philadelphia: Budweiser’s Made In America Festival.
Although it seemed to be one of the hottest weekends of the summer, that still didn’t stop thousands of people from all over the nation come to the city of Brotherly Love to party all day and night. This two day event was magical to say the least. With various forms of entertainment: from rides to delicious festival food to live skype sessions with artists and of course, live performances from artists of all genres. Basically, you had to try really hard to be bored if you were here anytime during the festival.
Performers of all genres kept the crowd going all day on both days. Here’s just to name a few:
Fitz and The Tantrums
Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails
Thomas Mars of Phoenix
I’m not sure what was more appealing, the great performances given by each performer or seeing the energy that was given from the crowds ALL day. It seemed as though there wasn’t a second anyone spared to stop to regain energy again. Although I’m pretty positive everyone that attended this event is recovering all day today, I’m sure it was all worth it. Everyone was there to have a good time and you could tell. Being around these positive vibes and smiles that was given out this entire weekend was a great way to end my summer with a bang.
Finally, what was best for this entire event was being able to hang out behind the scenes and be in contact with celebrities randomly throughout the entire day. Also being able to network with other industry professionals. Overall, this entire weekend was an extraordinary experience.
Oh hey, it’s me =]

Now signing off with the reminder: Don’t wait for the world to recognize your greatness, live it and let the world catch up to you.
